Legion of Green Men are a duo from Windsor, Canada that have recorded for the Plus 8, Swim, Switch and Post-Contemporary labels. Their most celebrated work come from the seminal Spatial Specific album on Plus 8 in 1994. The music can be gauged as sort of post- modern abstract electronics with a heavy spacey-psychedelic edge. Kind of music on the edge of time, so to speak. And they love their locked grooves, calling them infinite opuscules. I personally can't see any similarity of your music (Rockin' Pony) to Legion of Green Men, and I would imagine Canadian electronic music to be fairly diverse. I am certainly aware that some of the most innovative electronic music comes from Canada, but there is a trend for these producers/ labels to go into obscurity for a while. As far as I know you can hear a LOGM Mp3 on the Switch homepage - they do a collaboration with the renegade producer Himadri which is sublime. I also saw some new releases by Himadri and the web page being updated. So Himadri is indeed back! http://www.switchrecords.com/artists/archives.htm Stay tuned for Legion of Green Men as I might be dropping a track on the show this Sunday.
